There will be a room available as a quiet and prayer space, open for use at any time.

What is the purpose of the workshop?

The Government are currently running a Curriculum and Assessment Review which will lead to changes to what is taught in schools and colleges and how students/pupils are assessed. The youth Shadow panel (a group of 15-22 year olds) are running regional events to gather youth views on education to ensure youth voice is heard and is a part of shaping the changes to future education. Your views shared during the workshop will help to form recommendations on the education system that will be shared with policymakers and the Government Review Panel. You have the chance to be a part of meaningful change which will benefit many young people, now and in the future.

The youth Shadow panel represent the Shadow curriculum and assessment review which is hosted by the charity, SOS-UK and ran in partnership with a group of leading youth organisations. Staff from SOS-UK are supporting the youth Shadow panel to plan and deliver this event.
