We are pleased to announce that the consultation survey for the Bristol SEND and Inclusion draft strategy 2024–2028 is now live. The survey closes on Monday 28 October and can be filled out here: https://bit.ly/bristol-send-inclusion-strategy-consultation.

To develop the draft strategy, we have worked in partnership with education, health, and social care organisations as well as organisations working in our local communities, including Bristol Parent Carers and The Listening Partnership who is a group of children and young people with SEND aged from 13 to 25.
Some of what we propose to do is based on what children and young people with SEND and their parent carers have told us and some are required by law.
The draft strategy sets out the six priority areas our partnership will focus on together. It also sets out the outcomes we are trying to achieve and how we will know if we have fulfilled them.
Our priorities
As professionals working with children with learning needs, we are keen to hear your thoughts on our draft strategy, but we would also appreciate your help in spreading the word about the survey to parent carers and SEND professionals that you work with as part of your role.
We have put together a resource folder with text for social media and newsletters, along with a graphic for social media, a digital poster and a poster for print, which you can use to share and promote the consultation.
