Jo Mallinson from the BE Project will be running a 'Cannabis and Self-Medication' webinar on the 8th March 3.30-4.45pm for pastoral and safeguarding staff in educational settings.

The webinar will include:

• Understanding the medicinal role of cannabis- facts and myths. 
• The different ways young people use cannabis?
• What is self medication?
• What is the difference between self medication and other ways in which cannabis is used?
• When should you be worried about a young person?
• What services are available?
• What can you do in your setting to help a young person using cannabis to manage wellbeing or a young person who is self medicating?

The webinar includes input, questions and scenario discussions with specialists from Bristol services working to support young people who are using drugs to manage wellbeing and/or self medicate, including:
