As of January 2023, the school closure system has been moved to the main council Joomla website. It is visible at this link: https://www.bristol.gov.uk/residents/schools-learning-and-early-years/school-closures
Establishments have been sent logins to allow them to update the status of their schools.
To have your login details re-sent contact the Schools IT Helpdesk, or you if you are unable to login to the new closure site, please contact schools.it.hepldesk@bristol.gov.uk confirming which school you are from and your email address , we can then reset your login.
School closures or limiting people who are well from attending a school setting for public health reasons is only recommended in exceptional circumstances and as a last resort. When this decision is taken it should be discussed within a multi-agency meeting (commonly called an Incident Team Meeting (IMT)) before being implemented. Please contact the South West UKHSA Health Protection Team in the first instance.
