Tackling Domestic Abuse in Education

Course Description

A course to support the development of awareness of Domestic Abuse in education settings. This course will provide materials and information to be cascaded to other colleagues in the workforce, but will also consider strategically how practice and policy is effectively developed.

This course is targeted for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), Deputy DSLs, members of the Senior Leadership Team and anyone who has been identified to as a Domestic Abuse Lead in their setting.

Objectives

• To provide delegates with knowledge and understanding to enable the cascading of information in settings.
  
  
• Develop strategies to start conversations and respond to disclosures, notifications and concerns about domestic abuse.
  
  
• Develop knowledge of the existing multi-agency context in responding to domestic abuse.
  
  
• To review education, support and signposting resources.

Costs

The cost will be £30 per head.
